La Isla de Providencia, historically Old Providence, is a mountainous colombian Caribbean island that is part of Archipélago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, and the minicupality of Providencia and Santa Catalina Island, located in between of Costa Rica and Jamaica. Providencia’s maximum elevation is 360 metres (1,180 ft) above sea level.

Getting to Old Providence isn’t a hard job, first you need to take a flight to San Andrés Island, which counts on direct flights from Bogotá, Cali, Cartagena, and other principal cities of Colombia. Traveling from San Andres to Providencia is easily done, you can either take a non connection short flight or get there by boat.
